A Lion and Hare

Once upon a time, there was a lion who ruled over all the animals in the forest. One day, a small hare who lived in the forest came across the lion while he was resting. The hare was afraid that the lion would eat him, so he decided to be very clever.

The hare bowed low before the lion and said, "Your Majesty, the animals in the forest have decided to make you their king. They have asked me to take you to your palace."

The lion was pleased to hear this and agreed to follow the hare. The hare led the lion to a well and said, "Your Majesty, your palace is at the bottom of this well. Please look down and you will see it."

The lion looked down into the well and saw his reflection in the water. He thought that he was seeing another lion and roared at his reflection. The other animals heard the lion's roar and ran away in fear.

The lion became angry and jumped into the well to attack the other lion. But when he hit the water, he realized that it was just his own reflection. He struggled to climb out of the well, but it was too deep.

The clever hare then said, "Your Majesty, please grab my tail, and I will pull you out of the well." The lion did as he was told, and the hare pulled him out of the well.

The lion was grateful to the hare for saving his life, and he realized that the hare had tricked him. He decided to spare the hare's life and allowed him to live peacefully in the forest.

The moral of the story is that intelligence is more powerful than physical strength.
